What makes airport transfers on RidePickup different

Uber and Lyft are great for on-demand rides within a city. For pre-booked airport trips, you want reliability, language match, and price certainty — which is what a marketplace of independent drivers delivers.

Flight tracking

Drivers watch your flight and adjust pickup time if you’re early or delayed. No extra charge for late flights.

Meet at baggage

Driver parks, walks into the terminal, holds a name sign at baggage claim. Helpful for first-time visitors or elderly passengers.

Fixed-price quotes

Drivers quote a total price up front based on your airport, drop-off, and time. No surge, no surprises on arrival.

Language match

Filter drivers by spoken language. Great for elderly relatives, international visitors, or when you want conversation in your own tongue.

How an airport transfer works

From posting to pickup, the flow usually takes a few hours from start to finish.

1

Post your flight details

Flight number, arrival or departure, pickup/drop-off address, passengers, and bags. Takes about 2 minutes.

2

Get quotes

Drivers serving your route quote a total price. Typically within a few hours for airport runs.

3

Pick your driver

Review profiles, vehicles, languages, prices. Message drivers with questions. Book the one that fits.

4

Meet at the airport

Driver tracks your flight, parks, and meets you at baggage claim with a name sign. Payment is between you and the driver.

Airport transfer FAQ

Quick answers for common questions. The full FAQ is on the homepage.

How far in advance should I book?
For airport transfers, 24 hours ahead is typical. Booking 2-3 days out gives you the most driver choices. Last-minute requests (same-day) sometimes work if a driver is free.
What if my flight is delayed?
Drivers track your flight number and adjust automatically. Most drivers don’t charge extra for reasonable delays (1-2 hours). If your flight is cancelled, contact your driver directly to reschedule or refund.
Is the price fixed, or can it change?
The quote each driver gives you is a fixed price for the trip as described. If you change pickup location, add stops, or have more bags than stated, the driver may adjust.
Can drivers provide child seats?
Many drivers have child seats (infant, toddler, or booster). Mention it when you post your request — only drivers with matching seats will quote.
Do I pay RidePickup or the driver?
You pay the driver directly, the way they prefer (cash, Venmo, Zelle, card, etc.). RidePickup doesn’t collect fares or take a cut of your trip.
What if I land late at night or red-eye?
Many drivers accept late-night and early-morning arrivals. When posting, note your exact arrival time — red-eye friendly drivers will quote accordingly.
